Where do you download gpx files on garmin 64st
Sorry if this is a newbie question but then again I guess I'm a n00b here! I have a new Garmin 64st. I've done the Pocket Query but can't actually figure out how to see if the results have transferred to the device.
From reading this and other threads I think I may have to delete the file with the preloaded caches? When I turn the device on I do see plenty of caches but can't tell which of these if any are actually from the PQ.
Thanks in advance! Does anyone have step by step instructions or a vid that can show me, gps challenged, exactly how to open this file on the gps unit? I am exasperated for 4 months with this issue. When the unit boots up, it should read the file. You should not need to do anything. The GPS should read the file automatically.
They are visible in the location of the type of data waypoint, geocache, track or route. If the data is not showing up first make sure that there are no filters preventing you from viewing them. That is how I did it. Beware that sending a new list may wipe out the old and replace it with the new. I also have a Delorme , those units can have more than one file of geocaches. I do not know if Garmin can. You can post now and register later. If you have an account, sign in now to post with your account.
