How to download image from pinterest app
Pinterest is a massive social network yet it seems to grab fewer headlines than any other. While you can view what you like on the network, downloading and keeping images is not made that obvious.
This tutorial will show you a few ways to download images from Pinterest. I have a love hate relationship with Pinterest. I love the variety, the richness of some of the content and the ability to follow a thread across the world just through images.
One image links to an album which links to another, and another and so on. If you like collecting images, Pinterest never made it easy to find out how to download them. Save Image As… is the Windows right click dialog to save what you see.
As long as the author allows you to copy the images, right click the image page and select Save Image As… Give it a name and save it in an image format. Open Pinterest in Safari and either Control click or right click on an image and select Save Image As… Select a format, name the image and save it wherever it is that you save images.
Open the app and navigate to the image. Select the three dot menu icon at the top of the page and select Download. Agree to allow Pinterest access to your Photos and you can download as much as you like. Downloading Pinterest images on Android is much the same.
Open the image you want to save, select the three dot menu icon in the top left, select Download image and save it somewhere.
Allow it and the download will complete. The Image Downloader Chrome extension is a neat little app that allows you to copy images from just about anywhere online. Navigate to an image page on Pinterest, select the Image Downloader in the toolbar and select the image you want.
Set your format and options and save. You can use this extension to batch download as well as download individual images. Step 1: Open the Pinterest website on your PC. Then click the photo that you want to download. Step 2: On the next screen, hover your mouse over the image and right click on it.
Click Save image as. You will be asked to choose the name and location for downloading the image. Finally, click Save. In case you want to download multiple images from a Pinterest Board on your PC, we have a solution for that as well.
You will need to use a Chrome extension that goes by the name Image Downloader. You can use it to download multiple images from any website. Step 1: Open Chrome on PC.
Then click here to add Image Downloader Chrome extension. When the extension loads, click the Add to Chrome button. Step 2: Once installed, you will see the Image Downloader icon in the top bar of Chrome. Now open Pinterest and navigate to the Board from where you want to download images. Step 3: Then click on the Image Downloader icon. From the pop-up, check the Select All option. It will be removed from the selection. Step 4: Finally, hit the Download button. You will get a warning notification saying that if your Chrome setting is set to Always ask the location before downloading, multiple download windows will open.
If you are okay with that, click yes. Otherwise click No. To avoid multiple save windows, we need to check the download settings first. For that, click the three-dot icon at the top-right corner of Chrome and select Settings from the menu.
Under Settings, click Advanced. After disabling it, repeat step 3 and 4. Now when the extension asks you to continue the download, click on Yes. Chrome will download all the images on that page. We stumbled upon a strange bug which prevented the app from saving the photos to iPhone, but reinstalling fixed it.
